I've just turned off the PBS newshour because Amna Navaz was so arrogant and rude in her questions to the President of Afghanistan (5-16-21, 3:20 pm Calif. time), I was embarrassed and angry. She often treats her interviewees like scorned objects, not heads of state. We;ve noted this for over a year. She lacks Judy's grace and polite demeanor, although Judy is not as competently sharp an interviewer as she was five years ago.
I think we will be finding other news hours, where respect and empathy are in display, a tone of give and take rather than attack.
