I've always been a huge fan of Michelle Yeoh, she's never (to my knowledge) been in a movie that was bad. I still recall Memoirs of a Geisha...simply stunning and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, seriously deep. This movie, her performance, steps back from her martial art's skils and reminds folks, she has serious acting chops and she sunk them DEEP into this role. I won't give any spoilers but....this movie, albeit difficult to keep up with for the first 20 min or so, hit so deep with all the "possibilities", the things that we always wished for that never existed, or did they? The connection she shares w/her castmates, especially her daughter felt genuine. I highly recommend this film.

Just....bad, like really bad. NO direction, another attempt to jam the whole empowered woman ideology down our throats imo.
