This movie is one of the most authentic bio-pics ever made. There is a book called- 'Jail Diary and Other letters' (by Bhagat Singh), which are real letters and journal entries written by Bhagat Singh in his last 2 years in Jail. The dialogues, character ideology, philosophy, events of the movie stay authentic and true to the reality as much as possible. These freedom fighters including Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose (movie 'Gumnaami') have not received enough recognition or respect in contemporary India for their work, patriotism and sacrifice - owing to our present and previous governments only highlighting the achievements of several few. This movie is an absolute Gem with brilliant acting, direction, editing, screenplay, dialogues and Music. It transports you to the era of these unbelievable souls.

Brilliant. Absolutely Brilliant. Its a shame for us, that the findings this movie has shown does not get attention of mainstream media and the country in general. This movie is based on books (India's Biggest cover up, Conundrum) written by Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghose after years of extensive research (from National and international archives, interviews, papers etc.) on the mysteries surrounding Netaji's death. The movie is filled with researched facts gathered by the two authors in a way easy that's to understand. This movie is mostly in Bengali and as a Hindi speaking person, I didn't even realize its not in a language I speak- such is the brilliance of the move. It fill your heart with patriotism, wonder and will also leave you bewildered at the same time. I am still waiting for the Supreme court to make the judgement (given in 2017) of this Case public.
