Brings me back to the 80’s, when AIDS was just being discovered. I think because medications are so successful these days, it’s not talked about as much, and is certainly not a taboo subject the way it was in the early years. This movie shows that it is just as relevant now as it was then, and with warmth and love really brings you into the anxiety and complexity still faced today. This movie was absolutely incredible, taking me into the emotions of the characters, and sitting on the edge of my seat, tissue in hand, awaiting the results. Love, love, love this movie, and hugs to anyone struggling through these three months, or more.
