Cynthia Smith

This series is one of the best I’ve ever watched. Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, and Sam Elliot embody superb acting abilities worthy of winning Golden Globe and/or Emmy Award nominations. The narrative dialogue spoken through the daughter of Hill & McGraw’s oldest child is deep and thought-provoking as she ‘comes of age’ during their wagon wheel trek from the mid-West to Oregon. The insights these characters have in times of hardship are moving as the story unfolds. I’ve never been a fan of the western genre of films and movies until now, but 1883 has it all and does not disappoint!
