I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually find out a lot of these recent movies/shows were written by a primitive AI. It is the only thing that makes sense to me. I have to much faith in humanity to believe a human being could write something so terrible.

This is not Gladiator, this is not Braveheart, this is not Amadeus. Two words can describe this movie "Character Assassination". I guess this movie was suppose to be a comedy and not a serious (or accurate) telling of Napoleon's life yet I am still profoundly disappointed with literally everything about this movie. I really like Ridley Scott and Joaquin Pheonix but this movie was unwatchable. If I was at the theater I would have walked out but I stuck through it until my disappointment turned into agitation and then to anger. I guarantee you Pheonix didn't know his lines until 10 seconds before the camera rolled. I guarantee you Scott let his assistant or dog direct this film. I guarantee you they took 1-shot of each scene and moved on. This is the only thing that makes sense! They are the top of Hollywood and this "movie" is the best they could do? I don't believe it. I know what youre thinking, 'but other reviews say "5/5 OMG AMAZING" so why trust you'? Well I too have read those reviews and I can honestly say, they are not talking about this movie or didn't even watch it.

Had high expectations and was severely disappointed. A movie you can skip.

Oh boy is this a bad movie...best to just pretend it doesn't exist.

I put off watching this movie for so long and now I regret it. Exceptional movie, I'm not going to be able sleep tonight.

Good, not great, and worth watching.

In contention for worst movie ever.
