Shirley Swinnerton (Beardshaw)

I love watching and taking part in SOP. I can sing to my hearts consent and nobody tells me to stop as I live on my own. I have noticed that there is a man in the congregations who is there every week. He usually wears a grey jacket. Is he part of the team. I have especially enjoyed today's ("23/06/24) which has been all about the work of the RSPCA. My little dog, Poppy. died a few weeks ago at the age of 15. I miss her so much as she was such good company. I would love to have another dog to love and care for but my family think its not a good idea because I cant walk and I am 76 in a few weeks. I need a little rescue dog who is perhaps not so good on its legs either but could manage a walk around my garden. I couldnt walk the dog but I could persuade my grandson to do it for me. THe Stretton RSPCA is just down the road for me. Somebody please find me a LITTLE dog that I can give lots of BIG loves and cuddles to.

Having read through lots of these reviews I realise there is so much pettiness out there. Ben is lovely and the fact that he does hug the contestants is great. Its nice to find a mad who is not afraid to hug. I wouldnt mind him hugging me and I am old enough to be his mother. At this not very nice time we are living in now a hug means a lot. I dont think Ben is being flirty I think he just gets involved withe the competition to help the contestants. Please keep the show going for a long time to come with Ben as its presenter and hugger.
