Great movie, well written scripts Ben Affleck is superb in the roll of uncle Charlie! "if only all Uncles! were like him, to children with a non present father " Meanwhile, it's inspiring and uplifting.. I really enjoyed this flim Ty Sheridan is excellent and so is the young man playing his role as a child . Only thing they screwed up was The mother had throat cancer and had her thyroid removed I noticed there was no scars.... There always scaring after a surgery like Thyroid CA That's why I gave it a 4 star Must pay attention to details....

What a fantastic movie! How the so called critics could give this one a bad review...I think I'm pretty dam good at what I like or don't like about a film Mathew Teague story is so real, the fact that he had to endure the pain of losing the love of his life! The way his friend Dane stepped up and was there with Mathew amazing storyline. .I actually think this is one of the most honest and real stories, I've seen in a long time.The friend, who really has friends that sacrifice their own selfless needs , to drop everything and just be there...I sure cried thru the ending , the way he held her and the way she was just a human being like all of us .. She must of been a amazing women, friend and Mother ... So many young mothers and young people have been taken by cancer .. .this truly hit close to home for me...The best part of this movie, he forgave her and loved her til the end of her life , something husband's mostl likely wouldn't or couldn't put their egos aside to do...Well Done, well written.. That letter was just a act of gratitude and true respect and love.

Good story , however! The writer or whomever! didn't do #accurate research on recovery programs!!! Furthermore, when you admit your powerless you give it to whom you precieve to be your God.. That's in the 12 steps . At no given time, does a detox in a treatment center hand out Valium! Or Coffee that's caffeinated ! Perhaps a mild anxiety tab and that's very short term... Valium is a barbiturate and very dangerous to be on long term ..FYI Been there done that Also, anyone bringing in any items, they are checked by staff , especially if they are gift wrapped. Details are important when making flims based on addiction! Otherwise, good story! And I recommend any movie about addiction be seen by anyone . I also recommend that everyone addict or not! Do a 12 step ...keeps you real

Incredible, writing, directing and cast is just amazing! This whole series had me enthrawled from the first season The final 2 part 4 seasons, what an incredible plot and the twists and turns of suspenseful writing , incredible acting . I'm gonna miss Ruth character for sure! The actor who portrayed Ruth she an amazing actor Jason Bateman, who'd think he could play such an intense role!..I'm blown away by this show! How can there be anything to top Ozark Well done to all behind cameras and infront.. What an excellent crew! So we'll done,,just can't express enough! If you want suspenseful and incredible acting ..Check this out , Ozark I' miss it already, I wish they would of had a spin off loll I am hooked How can anyone beat this ..
