I was hesitant to watch this, considering how much I loved the original as a kid, but I was so pleasantly surprised throughout the whole film. I’d even venture to say this film is closer to what the ride at the amusement parks is like. I think a lot of the negative reviews I’ve seen neglect to acknowledge this movie is meant for a younger audience or people with children. Even then, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to just about anyone.
