Honestly, i just saw this movie for the references. It gets referenced too many times in other shows, and i was too sick of not getting them so i decided it was about damn time I watched it. I can easily see why its the supposed 'classic' movie from the 80's, definitely not your everyday high school romedy. Emphasis was on the exchange of dialogues and the development and depth of the characters. No matter which clique you felt you belonged to in your school days, you can deffo relate to this movie. I'd recommend watching it, more or less because of the significance this movie holds in pop culture, however not if you want to be entertained for an hour and a half.
