So far it's not a bad game. Visually stunning, great sense of control over the aircraft. I enjoyed that there are upgrades you can purchase, so early aircraft can be useful further into the game. It's very satisfying to engage in dogfighting and get yourself some gun kills. Even on easy, you'll need to master your controls to do that. My complaints are that 1. Each mission seems to have some stupid gimmick to make it more challenging (such as hiding below clouds to avoid radar). 2. You get WAY too many missiles to use. I enjoyed Ace Combat 5, where you NEEDED to use the gun to complete most missions. 3. The aircraft progression tree is WAY too convoluted. I gave it 6/10 because it's still fun, but rather forgettable.
