This game is a cute, challenging, carefully curated experience. There is an abundance of attention to detail and small touches that give a ton of charm. The difficulty is pretty high on the retro mode, but this is a fairly breezy game for all skill levels on the beginner difficulty. I never felt like my deaths were unfair, and you end up picking up the feel for the controls after a little while. Absolutely recommended if you like old-school platformers like Kirby's Dream Land or Super Mario Land.
