My hubby and l love the show since it first aired. I love the generosity of Mike Wolf. He never takes advantage of anyone they’re picking not knowing prices. Many times offering more than price given. Mike Wolf mentions in one episode that he hasn’t met many with the last name Wolf. I one episode he says their names almost the same just the other guys name has an E at the end of Wolf-Wolfe. For your information Mike and Frank have never come to a Mennonite community like Winnipeg and especially Winkler;about an hour from Wpg. That name is as common as Smith in this area. And ld encourage them to come pick in this area as many grew up poor and we recycled everything! I myself was born in Mexico in 1966 born at home and although lm only in my early 50s l grew up in the horse and wagon era and didn’t know another world existed til the age of six when my family as well as many other Mennonites immigrated to Canada especially the Ontario and Manitoba area.Talk about culture shock! The only vehicles ld ever seen were a team of our horses and wagon living like Little House on the Prairie with dirt floors,no hydro,tv,indoor plumbing etc. I only spoke low German when l started school. The first time l was in a vehicle was when we immigrated here. I freaked out how fast this machine could go! So come on over to Manitoba and check out the many Wolfe’s living here.
