I had to give up on this series purely because is so out of touch with the reality, although the screen writers threw even the 'kitchen sink' to make it more interesting. You have the Las Vegas party background in the first season, making it more interesting, but then they put in mobsters, FBI etc to ensure an international audience, although the series is well filmed/edited/put together. Where it fails is the pure detachment from the reality with Elodie Yung proudly saying 'I am a Phillippino doctor' who does not even re-train to be a doctor in the USA or wanting to go back to her country with the saved money but engages only in illegalities, with her family travelling back and forth via her mob connection, besides screaming at them full of attitude. Then she appears in front of a judge, with no ICE in sight to deport her for giving her sick son medicine not FDA approved in the USA - in real life she would have been deported straight away. You want to feel sorry for the illegals of the world, taking jobs from the inhabitants of a certain country, but the reality is, most of us are migrants working in legal contracts and will never consider doing what this character does. I honestly cannot understand how Fox, the channel distributing this series because probably the actors are very low paid, continue this fantasy for more series. This reminds me that apparently foreigners cannot even buy a house in the Phillippines even if married to a local: they have to put the house on the partner's name. For fairness you have to travel to our democratic countries with useless leaders, despite us being a minority in the world. You do not need to wait for 3 body problem (the series) to be taken over and feel like a stranger on your own street while you are being threatened by illegals for your way of life while in their part of the world you are asked to leave for being a foreigner. So unfair.
