I’m going to leave an extensive review on Pokémon Legends: Arceus. I beat the game already and have many things to say about it, Pros and cons. Pros: Overall the game is very relaxing, the open world concept is intriguing, and invites you in to explore its far corners. There’s many different areas to venture off to, unique Pokémon to catch including shiny Pokémon, alpha Pokémon, and the way they set up the move set for your Pokémon is truly unique versus all of the other Pokémon games. The lore is also great, it really gives you a complete background of what the Pokémon world was before humans really started interacting with them, and you truly dive in by completing quest after quest. I enjoyed the game, had lots of fun with it. It’s the first time Pokémon has ever done anything like this, so I hope the next open world game has a little more to it! Cons: Now the only problem I’m having is there’s nothing to really do after you beat the lore side of it. Sure, you have to catch legendary Pokémon, maybe catch some more shiny Pokémon, and do side quests… But even after that, there’s no trainer battles, there’s no more Pokémon to catch, and you’re kind of left just floating around which eventually, to be honest, I got bored with. I’m a huge Pokémon fan, and really looked forward to this game. I just expected there to be more PvP interaction, more Pokémon, and a lot more functions as far as interactions go. I understand there’s only so much you can do with one game, so with that, I’m hoping for the next one to double in size and offer more of an online front. One I can play with friends, and continue to play without eventually getting bored. Still a good game none the less! Hands down one of the most unique Pokémon games to ever come out.
