perhaps one of the better attempts at a pc port for Doom 64. I know Doom 64 EX exists and it's more faithful to the original, but I feel the brutal version does the same. If anything this version of the game feels more like a remaster with a few bells and whistles thrown in to modernize it. Better graphics, higher frame rates, support for monitors going as far as 4k, a tactical and classic mode, and an additional mission 0 which plays out the events of the opening cut-scene from the OG Nintendo 64 version. I know purists love the old days and will most likely get Doom 64 EX or even opt into the rumored Doom 64 port that was leaked online. Regardless, this version is in my opinion the most fun and one of the better ways to experience your childhood.
