I enjoy the character development. not having read the graphic novels I can't compare them but I do like the intensity and good vs evil vs neutral. Yes quite a bit are LGBTQ but it can be overlooked and it isn't overly stuffed down your throat. I think it was well done and hope it gets more than one season. Dreams voice matches that he is the sandman and casting is pretty good.
