Going to give it 5 stars because look, this game held my attention for dozens of hours and that's something. Is it without flaws? Of course not. Like many games in this category, in my opinion, it suffers from a lot of bloat. I don't know why the trend these days is a 50+ hour game that takes years to develop, filled with a lot of fluff and random missions. But that's not just this game, it's many games. All in all, there are some good characters, combat, graphics, among other things. You can tell a lot of effort was put into making the game, and while it's not perfect, it crosses my threshold for 5 stars.

This game is a real GEM! I don't usually leave reviews, mostly because a lot of the games I typically play are the popular, well received ones so leaving a review seems like just a drop in the ocean, but this game may be overlooked so I figured I'd say something. It wasn't on my radar at all until my neighbor mentioned it and I'm very glad he did. Everything that people have mentioned in the reviews are true. The characters are great, polished, and easy to connect with. The dialogue is high level and doesn't feel repetitive and only in very rare instances feels a bit corny. But for the most part it's fresh and entertaining. The story is captivating and, combined with the graphics, creates a very immersive experience. I enjoy the combat and team management although it's a bit chaotic at times, but I guess that fits the theme. Overall, I highly recommend this game especially if you're into team based RPGs, linear stories, space settings. Enjoy!
