I'm sorry to say this wasn't the best Napoleonic movie, wasn't Joaquin's best portrayal of Napoleon either - he looked like a lethargic old man, no vigor and his husky and nonchalant voice bemuses me...nothing compares to Rod Steiger's commanding voice and caliber in Waterloo (1970)...

I saw this space drama in the 90s. It was utterly boring, slow, wooden, lacking action, all was just plain intellectual conversations upon conversations upon conversations. To be put plainly, it was a boring soap opera set in outer space. Patrick Stewart doesn't impress me at all. Utterly boring! Nothing compared to the original motion picture and the maestro Bill Shatner himself.

Very wooden, too many scenes and drama-like, not action packed

Disappointing, awfully boring, dull and lacklustre movie. Lacks actions, adventures and surprises in the end. More fitting for a mundane family drama movie than a sci-fi movie. Without star studded casts like Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, etc, this movie will definitely be a major flop. Addendum: This movie is skeptical and dismissive of intelligent life out there in the space which does not subscribe to millions of sci-fi fans here on Earth. C- at best.
