Things I liked:
The special effects were cool. The way the AI are modeled is pretty sick.
Some scenes were shot really nice, what's the word cinematography?
Things I hated:
No character development. Absolutely none.
Pacing not consistent. (We're raiding a village within twenty minutes of the movie, with minimal context, capture "the weapon" and survive two explosions.... but toward the end, a ten minute countdown is now a twenty minute scene?)
Horrible dialogue (the way a sergeant, assuming E5, was talking to a full bird and the guy with stars on his chest??? Why the colonel even on the front lines anyway?)
Just lack of realistic qualities too. But I'm also nit-picking at this point.
Summary: Not worth spending three hours at the movies.
