There was so much to work with and it was not used. This could have been such a great inspiring film but with the not-so funny jokes mixed up with so much history details to cover and the flat emotions of a crumbling ego of the great Napoleon, it simply didn't cut it. If you didn't know who Napoleon was, you could walk out the theater still having no clue. Director didn't tell a story, just focused on the negative side of a historical character assuming everyone would understand the context. Performances are hollow, story telling a joke, violence portrayal pointless and the attempts for jokes, awful.
