Terrible book, made no sense…I skipped to the end to see what happens bc I couldn’t find spoilers online…not worth it

This book was in a word…terrible. The main character was weak and showed no emotion. Her actions made no sense in her self-decided detective work…the parts with her past husband, group that she just abandoned and people at the school also don’t lend any helpful insight. They start something about her father and then never follow up on it. He makes mention of the silent patient twice also which serves no purpose. I wonder who edited this book and actually thought it all came together and made sense.
