The experience of viewing this slice of soon-to-be forgotten americana ( and remember, this is the era that trump refers to in his slogan: "Make America Great Again "), cannot be underestimated nor can it easily be forgotten, nor should we forget it. We are allowed to slide so easily back into this perilous era that we forget what PC means and revel in the wallowing and suffered joys of these damaged souls. Utterly beautiful

Beautifully crafted suspense/mystery/horror that is deeply imbued with subtle influences from david lynch. Very ominous soundtrack creates a very palpable sense of foreboding. I'm glad the film makers decide to create atmosphere instead of showing violence and gore. Hats off to everyone involved. I'm an artist myself and I deeply enjoyed this tale and the work that went into its crafting. . I've also spent many weeks on block island and was glad to see this magnificent landscape used adeptly to add to the mystery of this film. Beautiful!
