Stands out among Indian tv series because it continuously moves forward fast unlike most others that stretch out for half an hour something that can be shown in five minutes. I don't agree that srimoyee's character shows the helpless indian wife. On the contrary it portrays the struggle of a woman to discover her individuality. the series is very realistic and maybe makes some people uneasy. Superb acting by most. Why should TV be deprived of great actors?
