So much exposition that the dialogue is painful, treating the audience as children who need every bit of plot explained to them. Weird sexist tropes with Mae (Rebecca Ferguson) and outdated, overused shots (lens flares, etc.).
A fun idea for a film that lacked follow through, unfortunately.
