Iโm so tired of stereotypical writing in stereotypical shows. Thankfully, She Hulk is here to save the day! Gone are the days where a first episode establishes a protagonistโs strengths, flaws, motivations, and goals. Gone are the days where a first episode sets up the season long plot, the antagonist, and any stakes to get the audience to invest in the show.
Now we have shows like She Hulk! A cinematic masterpiece far above such a trivial thing like writing a real, complex character struggling to achieve a goal on their heroโs journey, surrounded by three dimensional supporting characters.
What are we replacing such needless activities with? Hulk yoga! Captain America virgin debates! Masterful fight choreography and CGI in a gripping final scene! As Scorsese would say: โThis is cinema. Real art, plain and simple.โ
Now if youโre a lesser being (and probably misogynistic tbh) who maybe prefers actually compelling stories, worry not! Hulk says โbruh!โ So youโll still think this show is 5 stars, like me. ๐๐ป
