Furiosa: I wanted this to be good but was sorely disappointed. Normally CH, TB, NH are worth a watch whatever they are in, ATJ has done a few things that I really rate. What was wrong? The action scenes could have been from any of the franchise and felt like we were just going through the motions. The good guys had nothing about them that was endearing, no humour no character, though Tom Burke seemed to give it a try. The bad guys were just that, none of them were distinct or vile enough to engender feelings of hate and make you look forward to their gory end. The production team could have walked about with cut-outs of the characters and I don’t think the film would have lost much. I’m not sure you can lay any blame with the actors, the script probably started off as “Mad Max: the inoffensive Years”.
