My first Lanegan album. It holds a special place in my heart. Not a weak song in the album, but that is to be expected. Dark Mark is at his Bluesy best here in a record shrouded by pain and helplessness - which are the hallmarks of his significant heroin addiction - but also with glimpses of light at the end of the tunnel. Jeez, what a talent, what a tragic loss.
