Repulsive, degrading and depressing. Written to be a lesson in what fey liberals, self gratification, permissiveness and the Bondi sub-culture has lead to. Every episode draws reaction from a grab-bag of middle-class outrage (rape, child solicitation, adultery, surrogacy for money, mental illness and even maternal smoking is thrown in). Every character is repugnant: either unforgivably weak, damaged, predatory or lacking agency. The worst have the broadest Aussie accents. Written with special contempt for female academics, cops and all males in general. The satire lacks insight or humour, the acting is not especially noteworthy. The plot is mildly intriguing.
