The Truth

So as the season comes to a close i feel ive played enough fut to justify a review and it’s not good. In my opinion there’s definitely an element of scripting going on, you can win 3 games on the bounce playing Barca in their prime, then the very next game with the same players, same tactics, same everything, it just seems like it’s your turn to lose and no matter what you do you’re going to lose, 20 shots to your opponents 2 and lose 2-0, their keeper making impossible saves, you’re defenders lose the ability to run and at times even move at all, the cursor won’t go to the player of choice, you’ve will always have a defender dropping back playing everyone onside and then opponent gets a tap in, I see other reviews saying people only complain about scripting because we don’t win every game which is not true, it’s the nature of the losses and at times even the wins, the new system without relegation is awful unless you’re at elite level because sooner or later you’ll reach a division that you’re just not good enough to compete in but once there you’re stuck there until the end of season reset. In terms of gameplay i like the game however the tactics and instructions should be made more clearer because half of them don’t do what they say they’re meant to do. Corners/crosses are still poor as have been for ten years, barely ever score headers, obviously the packs are waste of time but it’s not even worth talking about that anymore, but hopefully this new legislation is passed that makes EA change the model. Oh, and career mode is completely ruined with the fitness and sharpness nonsense, we just want to play a match not spend all our time in training, it is quite ridiculous, so as a whole i really hate this edition which is a shame because it was almost a good one!
