Really crazy twist the Scorsese movie was good

Not that great of a movie specifically for the weak first act

By a mile the best thing Nolan has made and an absolute masterpiece. I say this as someone who isn't even fond of majority of Nolan's filmography.

Easily Mike Flanagan's best. A deeply disturbing and scary exploration of faith and addiction. The characters, dialogue and themes are by far at their best here. Hell I'd even go as far as saying this is scarier than Hill House. (I can't even compare it to Bly since that one isn't scary ._.). Anyway, I highly recommend you give this a watch.

Some draggy episodes but overall a great show with phenomenal characters and themes. Not as good as Hill House but still worthwhile.
