Brilliant and brutal depiction of frontier life in the very early days. It doesn't bear a great resemblance to the book which I read a few years ago. But I am sure Annie Proulx won't mind as I believe she was involved in the making of it. The portrayal of the Iroquois is authentic and terrifying. Cant wait for season two!
