Steamboat Willie has so much charm to it, that modern Mickey Mouse cartoons can never replicate! Even if it's going into the public domain in 2024, it will always be a Disney cartoon in out hearts. The way Pete tries his hardest to stop Mickey from being happy on the ship, he finds a way! That is until Pete makes Mickey peel potatoes at the end of the short-film. Steamboat Willie was revolutionary, not just for putting Disney into the spotlight as "Masters of Animation"! It was one of the first sound-synced cartoons, and started a new era for animation as we know it! I'd say give it a watch! It is one of the best Mickey shorts, and arguably the most iconic! 10/10.
