Honestly, I’ve seen my fair share of bad movies, but this one might just top the list. By the end, I couldn’t even bear to stay and see it through; it was that insufferable.
The movie had a glimmer of promise at the start. There were a few decent scenes, and seeing Kirsten Dunst made me feel a bit nostalgic for her "Spider-Man" days. It gave me a brief moment of hope, making me think, "Maybe this will turn out okay." Boy, was I wrong.
The characters are poorly developed and completely unrelatable. It felt like they were just thrown together without any thought. The storyline, if you can call it that, is incredibly rushed and lacks any depth. Essentially, it boils down to: take some pictures, drive to Washington D.C., and that’s the entire movie. There's no real plot development, no engaging twists or turns—just a series of disconnected events.
As for the action scenes, they're painfully bad. There's one particularly cringeworthy moment where the characters are sitting on a couch, and in the background, there’s a battle going on with bullets flying across the sky. But the background scene is just a poorly looped clip, repeating over and over again. It’s almost as if they didn’t think the audience would notice such a glaringly lazy mistake.
And let’s not forget the tank scene. At one point, a tank rolls up to blow open the doors of the guarded gates of the White House. Instead of feeling epic or thrilling, it’s laughably bad—the cannon on the tank wobbles all over the place, making it look like a cheap prop rather than a formidable piece of military hardware. It completely ruins any potential tension the scene might have had.
In summary, this movie is a total mess from start to finish. The brief moments of nostalgia and the few good scenes at the beginning are not nearly enough to save it from being a complete disaster. If you value your time and sanity, steer clear of this one.
