Manhwas have so much potential and it's rarely realised in Live action and it's sad. so stick to creating animation instead like Solo leveling. 1. study group LA was bad - i couldn't even get through the first episode. a disservice. 2. marry my husband - well, i didn't like the manhwa much either so the LA wasn't good either. dropped by ep 8. amongst others. it's sad. go the anime route, if anything.

well, I thought this movie would be too dark for me but surprisingly, it wasn't. it was mild compared to the things I've seen in reality anyways. the acting is top notch! the little sermon about doubt and faith going together actually made sense (and was definitely eye opening!). it was an interesting watch because most of the papal stuff is secretive and I wanted to know what went behind those doors. the only issue was the ending.

season 3 1-4 episodes— the timeline definitely jumps around and felt weird because I did read the book and the series definitely missed out on a LOT of sweet/cute moments. while the series could definitely have been a sweet love story, it sure falls flat in the romance department. the 'i've been wandering all over, searching for a place to call my home' mc meets the wallflower, it isn't really a spark, which is refreshing but they didn't delve into WHY and how Colin changed. was he finally looking for love or someone to settle down with? the chemistry is.. there but not glaringly out in the open. it's a subtle change from oh she's just a friend to why do I keep seeing her in my dreams?!? and it's WONDERFUL but! the series did a bad job at showing that. it could've been SO MUCH MORE. feel like there's some kind of nudity/adult scenes bridgerton has to put out like a certain percentage.. when they felt really unnecessary and just plain filler scenes. two people longing for love.. finally kiss. but there's no fireworks, just a fire. not sure why love always has to equate to sleeping together or something along the way there. couldn't Colin's feelings be of lust and not love? how does one even differentiate between the two in shows like these?

i feel bad for Dani.. she struggles with codependency and her boyfriend doesn't make it any better for her. what happened to her family was tragically awful and she's right in feeling every emotion she feels. i couldn't watch any further than the scene where there's a banner of a 'love story' but it's just a story of a woman using her hair and blood to trap a man?! it's weird and probably has its roots in witchcraft. the background score is eery and demonic and i had to turn the volume down. definitely didn't watch the whole movie, I don't think I can.

Was looking for a gloomy thriller for ages and I finally found one that hit all the right spots. Note: I love gloomy locations, movies set in moorish England or something alike. Not a fan of horror but definitely love thriller/suspense. Tried to watch murder on the orient express and I got bored in the first few minutes, it failed to grab my attention. BUT this movie had a good plotline, had me guessing who the culprit was and the ending was.. satisfactory. Rarely seen in movies/dramas nowadays, I thoroughly loved the movie from start to finish. It was eery but had all of it explained by the end of it except for a few things which are way outside of our realistic views. This might be the best one out of the three but I haven't watched Death on the Nile yet.

all I want to say is that it's very realistic and it hit close to home, for me atleast. rejection is a real thing and it can become a sore wound over time. there's good news though, you heal and you realise the type of people you want to keep around. love is complicated. break ups are even more so. they all take effort. and this drama showed the healing process. it's definitely not as fancy and romantic as other kdramas where they fall in love easily with a fantasy element to it but it's real and it hits home. i saw myself in the female lead ofcourse and rooted for her. there were times the drama was suuuuper slow and it felt like it was dragged for ages, could've been completed in 10 episodes. it was fun nevertheless, i saw how a marriage is usually like, it takes effort. definitely a new perspective. acting is really good 😮‍💨 the chemistry between the leads was interesting! i liked seeing them both together.

the only con i could think of was that this series ended way too early. and I'm one of those folks who think a kdrama doesn't need to be stretched over 16 episodes. the acting is wonderful! my favorite scene was jihun picking up a very drunk mari and their conversation was sooo cute! her pouting and his baby talk ugh 😩 so cute. I'm glad this wasn't centered around romance because kdrama romance is SUPER stale and it's the same ol' stuff. BORING. although, I'd have loved to see mari and jihun fall for each other.. conflicting feelings for sure. this and taxi driver series are from the same studio/production house and I'd love to see cross-overs in the future! this is one of those dramas you'd watch twice.

it was drab, to sum it all up. the cast wasn't it, the story line wasn't it either. i expected something more for something surely was missing. The ex bf isn't evil but comes off as comical. The ex bestie.. such a good actress and a wasted opportunity. i stopped watching at episode 13. definitely not my cuppa tea.

have watched 8 episodes and the story is super cute and light, the cast is really good (although I was skeptical at first), it's funny and wholesome too. yul is literally the cutest character besides the female lead. and the leads have good chemistry- the first time I'm actually seeing eunwoo have really good chemistry with someone (most usually he has with second male leads heh), either way.. seeing him happy made me happy. was one of those people who thought he couldn't act but he got really better and I'm happy for him! he is improving, please be patient with him. the doggo is absolutely cute too. the parents are understanding.. everything is wholesome (except a few people but that's okay). i really hope they keep it light-hearted. LOVED IT!! Ahhh the 9th episode where the past is shown.. i didn't like it. I don't like the bogyeom/ the tiger spirit character to begin with. how petty and annoying but I guess someone had to be the villain so heh. it went down south for me. watched the whole thing and for sure, it went down south beginning the ep 9. not that great.

the drama is top tier! the cast and everything is wonderful. the direction around the war was chef kiss. now I'm 8 episodes in and a few things bug me, mainly the female lead's character. i haven't read the manhwa so i wouldn't know but maybe to drag the story, they make her still show feelings for her friend's lover. it's so weird to watch her be desperate over that dude while still seeking out for the male lead. annoyed me a little. edit: after watching 10 episodes, they're both toxic.. seriously. the female lead longs for someone else while going around flirting and using men for her plans, falls for the male lead and finds out he's dead so she marries someone else while she has someone else in her heart. the male lead asks her to run away with him after she got married. WHY? eesh I take back my words lol I'm not watching the rest bye
