All these religious folks in here talking about blasphemy - it’s a Hollywood movie. It’s not a verse for verse biblical reenactment. Furthermore, I think it’s probably a more realistic theory of what actually happened thousands of years ago. So what if Jesus was black? They were in Africa, It’s more likely than not that Jesus was actually black. Get over yourselves. If you want to watch a reenactment of the Bible, go make it yourselves. I think it was funny, exciting, thrilling, surprising, dramatic and very thought-provoking. That’s some good screenwriting, and for the breadth of casting, it was also great acting. I’ve never reviewed a movie on Google before, but this was so good I had to come let it out.
