What a brave, intelligent, well spoken woman whose story is incredible, terrible and inspiring. Great book, keep telling this story.

Well written, well illustrated. It's important to teach through nature, she'll always be here. Such a great way to introduce some indigenous culture to non indigenous readers as well as helping kids understand inclusion. It truly takes a village to raise a good person and this book opens doors to new ideas. Bravo to both author and illustrator.
