I have been a Gettysburg fan since I was first there with my children in spring 1996. It is a wonderful area. The movie is impressive but I think visiting the area many times and seeing the many displays and monuments and re- enactors is especially moving. ....I am always interested in plant and animal life most of all. I have spent many hours walking in favorite battlefield locations. I also have attended excellent evangelical church services in several regional churches and a summer Sunday morning program west of Gettysburg in Franklin County. Adams County and parts west and north of it are special to me. The Gettysburg movie was one of the first things my children and I spent time with when we first discovered Gettysburg itself. We are fortunate to have so much in Pennsylvania. Gettysburg is one great aspect of Pennsylvania
