Days Gone is a slow burn for the first half with lots of repetition but keep at it because like fine wine, it gets better with time. The slow first part forces you to feel like an active part of this world, and in turn makes you even more invested in the second part of the games story. In the end, you really feel like you are part of this world. A world I didn't want to leave once the credits rolled. I have a soft spot for the real Bend OR but the world in this game is top notch!
