Juliet Munsell

This film was just awful. It's also way too long and the best word I can think of to describe it is painful. It's an insufferable watch, especially given the talent of the 4 main stars. It's heavy in tech-speak and completely devoid of emotion. I felt like I was watching a bot SPEAK for 2 hours about nonsense and world domination. It's not just that the content is extremely poor timing given the current political climate; it's that the characters lack any sort of substance or emotion. Even if you take it lightly as a comedy-- it's more cringe than funny for sure. The jokes are shallow and without any kind of emotional backdrop nobody cares how low these tech bros will go. We don't care about them-- there's nothing to like.

Cute and entertaining...but...This film has some plot holes and some opportunities left on the cutting room floor. I usually love long hair but the kids long hair was distracting because I did think they were girls for the first half. They also rarely wore clothes and only studied sex; so that was WEIRD. Who's going to actually FARM on the Farm? How will Ben Stiller pay for everything they need without a job if they don"t do any actual farming??They should have had a romantic thread with Ben and Linda Cardilini in more than whats implied in closing credits. Felt forced,rushed,and lazy. What a shame because it DID have potential...they just dropped the ball here.
