The story line to this show seems so cookie cutter at first. Heaven and hell. Angels and demons. Good and bad. You almost don't expect that kind of story to stick with you or deliver something new. But the way the plot of 'The Good Place' unfolds is so unique and incredibly satisfying. The diversity of the characters and their authentic backgrounds is an added bonus. The actors didn't have to work hard to get into character and come alive on screen. That's thanks to Michael Schur's ability to choose the perfect actors. This show is light and comedic. It's great for a night with family. Major thumbs up.
