One of the most disappointing games I’ve ever played. I love Zelda games, but I quit this game maybe 20 hours in. The bosses are so wildly overpowered as to be unbeatable. There’s no real exploration, yet it’s also easy to get lost somehow. I kept playing far longer than I should have based on all the reviews praising the game. I kept thinking that if I kept going, maybe it would finally get good, that I’d get some missing weapon or upgrade that would really let the game shine, and it just never happened. I can’t fathom how anyone enjoyed this game. It was so frustrating. Maybe I just expected too much given how much I love Zelda?

This game has so much potential, but I’ve never seen a game before that so openly hated the person playing it. It’s so infuriating that so much of this game is wonderful, but then you run across a part of the game where you can’t help but assume nobody QA tested this, bc there’s no way they would have released it like this. Over-powered bosses, floors that vanish out from under you and drop you onto spikes, a horrific transit system… The fun parts drag me back until I hit a point where I go, Oh yeah, this is why I quit playing this game. If I had to describe this in one word, it would be “tedious.”
