A beautiful, moving and imaginative film. What a joy and rare find. It takes a huge amount of skill to make something so preposterous evoke so much emotion.

The Netflix preview made this look like a wonderful film for christmas, magical, artistic, tugging at the heart strings.
It was in fact none of those things. It was one of those films that thinks it is being terribly clever, when the experience of watching it is just terribly irritating.
