Made me cry, hit pretty close to home

The start of the movie was strong, the protagonist felt a little bland kinda basic but there was mystery and tension and brings you in with the strong visuals. The ending was really lack luster and I felt that many story threads weren't followed through and what not. Also the character design for the main kaiju is so ugly. I understand they want her to look somewhat human but it's so yikes.

It was so good, bringing me back to when the first movie came out honestly. I just wish they utilise their magic hair in the story more, why are you using those sticky hands, you have magic hairrrr.

Enjoyable, but the plot was pretty cliche for a submersive story. The dialogue and animation took me out of the story a couple of times

The start was fun, the rest was not. There is way to much talking and speeches. I felt like all the arcs in movie were very unearned. There was hardly any build up to the characters growths and I think it's because there are too many characters the movie is trying to focus on. It felt really shallow, and not in a meta Barbie plastic kinda way but a 13 year old trying to be deep kind of way. It felt like being in class again.

Wow this movie sucks. Time has not been kind and the filter of *new and shiny* is now gone. Worse than I remember, well done Disney. Real strange movie, stranger is the moral and only good if you can make fun of it

No spoiler review: I watched this movie after everyone on the internet had watched it. If you haven't watched it yet, you probably had a similar experience to me trying to avoid all spoilers and still ended up knowing most of some important plot points. I was scared this would ruin part of the experience for me, but there were plenty of parts that suprised me. Love the visuals and the internal conflict but most of all I love the main characters and their relationships with each other.

Spoilers Ron... You deserve better. Someone who can tell their ex, that they are MARRIED and to back off on the flirting. If the bad guy was good, she would of left you
