It was a good, if flawed movie. I've read a lot about Napoleon's life, but I can see that if you don't know much about him, you might find the movie boring. I loved the visuals & the costumes, but Mr Phoenix's acting was quite wooden & uninspiring. In real life Napoleon was quite charismatic, especially with his soldiers. Also, the movie left out major elements, such as the battle of the Nile, which stran Napoleon troips
