Please do not think there is anything historical in this movie. Ben Afflecks character would have never fought in the battle Britain. The US was neutral. Some Americans did, but they became Canadian citizens first and fought as part of British Empire. Also, the nonsense that their girlfriend would be able to sneak into the communications center to hear what was happening was ridiculous. Most of this movie was a complete waste of time.
