This movie brought back so many memories of my childhood. Poor dirt farmers in SW Missouri, and an ancestry that bridges the gaps between different religions, political views, and races.
I am 1/8 Cherokee, and proud of it,
Also, about 2/4 Scotch-Irish. Also proud of that. The other 1 3/8 is English, French, and God know's what. The borders changed frequently over the years, decades, and centuries, between Ireland and Scottland, and England.
But the Irish in me will NOT let me just give up. I am a violinist/fiddler.Started when I was about 12 yrs. old. Desire was there but family had no money for a " foolish thing".oneday I stumpled upon a fiddle in my great uncles closet while playing with my sister, chasing through closet doors, hidden staircases, and so on.
Many homes in SouthernMissouri were a part of the underground railroad. Whether for the North or South..or whatever..,here we are today fighting and hateful when EVERY religion on this planet teaches us to "LOVE thy brother." AND not to judge "lest ye be judged also."
There are hundreds of not thousands if not millions in ourarea aone, barely hanging on, unable to put decent , healthy food on the table to themselves.
SO,. WHY DO YOU NOT POST YOUR PRICES ON LINE LIKE ALL OTHERS DO????? IS IT FOR THE ALMIGHITY DOLLAR???
I DON'T THINK YOUR PLACE IS ANY PLACE WHERE i EVER WANT TO BE. gOOD RIDDANCE.
