It’s fun until a spider one shots you with armor. on standard difficulty a mile from your base collecting resources and your bag doesn’t respond with you. So you have to go all the way back to get it or leave it and then have a marker for that one bag on screen until you do and it can be more then one bag left. It adds up to having multiple markers
So your going to either spend half the time building a base and the other half running from everything because if you get into a fight your life will not regenerate and you have to keep 20 medical packs just to explore which takes up a lot of space in your bag. as 5 will heal you to full life. Constantly have to eat and drink so it’s Fallout new Vegas on hardcore mode.
Half of what you can carry will be used for food, med kits, armor and tools.
Collecting resources is a bitc*
As You spend half the time running from creatures after you find the resources just to remember where they were and possibly collect them without dying and make it back to your base.
It cannot be played with one or two people you need 3 or more.
And good god! Trying to build a fence will make you want to quit. As it has to be placed perfect or it won’t allow you to do so. So my fence ended up looking like drunk retard tried to walk a straight line.
You can’t pick where you want your base as locations are set in stone and chosen for you in horrible places that will get you killed. And if a creature destroyed a fence you can’t just build a new one in that empty spot you have to deconstruct the area around it and then build it up again
That frustratingly bad!
This game has a lot of work ahead of it.
Good luck to you and give yourself a gold star if you played more then an hour after being one shooted by pretty much everything.
The most fun I had was jumping on a ladybug’s back and just saying f-it
Take me away.
