This was not that good of a movie. Jackson did a pretty good job with Lord of the Rings, but I was very disappointed with the Hobbit. The three (why?) movies didn’t capture the storyline of the Hobbit very much at all. Jackson made Bilbo’s character much more boring than he really was in the Hobbit, and added lots of characters (orcs, Sauroman, etc.) from Lord of the Rings into this trilogy. Not to mention it is a trilogy! I’ve read the Hobbit, and it’s not that long of a book. Each of the movies are very long, and there’s three of them! Lots of the things that some of the characters did are totally unreasonable and unrealistic. Jackson put Tolkien’s books to shame. I would not recommend these movies.
