The movie was a bore and yawn inducing by 2nd half. Audiences in my theatre were browsing their phones, sighing and moving around during the movie. So, I’m not alone in feeling so. I really wonder why some people are calling it a masterpiece. SRK overacted a lot. Situations in the movie and overall message was absurd -“Borders are made for poor people and not allow them” But that’s the point of borders to prevent terrorists, criminals and visa system was maligned as the criminal. In today’s, not so safe world, visa are required to filter out unwanted folks from getting in. It’s not about people being wealthy or poor which the film points out just to be more melodramatic. I think Hirani got carried away. Very unhappy and expected much better from Hirani.
